Dragana Jovicevic, MD

Dragana Jovicevic graduated medicine at Belgrade University. She is a specialist in epidemiology employed at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia as head of the Department of Epidemiology and Prevention, where she performs tasks in the field of control of hospital infections and epidemiology and prevention of malignant diseases. She is in the position of Manager for Medical Waste and is responsible for the management of medical waste at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology. She is a member of the Patient Support Working Group whose main goals are improving the role of oncological patients, communication with health professionals and the quality of life of patients and their family members.

She had training in the field of control and prevention of malignant diseases at the National Institute of Cancer NCI Washington DC, USA (Summer Curriculum in Cancer Prevention, 2010) and at the National Institute of Cancer Warshav, Poland (Tobacco Control Workshop for Health Professionals in Eastern Europe, 2017).

She was a lecturer at various national and international educations and conferences.

She is a member of the Founding Committee and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Mission of Health” Association.
